Sponspoship raised for CAFT

Tony would like to thank everyone who supported this fundraising effort by sponsoring his attempt to run the Comrades ultra marathon in South Africa. Unfortunately, injury forced Tony to withdraw from the race after he had completed 17 miles and climbed 2500 feet in soaring temperatures but he is delighted to have raised so much for the Adventure Farm which can be put to great use in supporting underprivileged and disadvantaged children across the North West. Tony commented “This race would be incredibly tough without any injury and getting injured so close to the event was a major blow. However, I got to the start line and gave it a go and I’m now planning on having another crack next year just as soon as I’ve got the knee injury resolved. Thank you to everyone for their support”. Thanks have also been sent from The Children's Adventure Farm Trust, who sent across this certificate of sponsorship, the total of which has since risen to £6,500.
