Making Tax Digital event

It’s an unwelcome burden and more hassle than ever before. BUT it’s happening, Making Tax Digital (MTD).

The MTD requirements will apply to all VAT registered businesses from April 2019.

Most significantly, VAT registered businesses will need to make quarterly filings to HMRC of profit and loss figures. This is incredibly onerous and will simply not be possible, without considerable extra work (e.g. preparing quarterly accounts), from traditional paper based accounting records and thus businesses will be driven to making their accounts processes digital in order to cope with MTD.

As accountants we can support you through these changes and provide the ongoing services that you need. However, the changes are so fundamental that it will be necessary to review your current record keeping systems and to consider what service and support we can give you to remove the burden.

We will discuss the impact of MTD and what it means for your business as well as demonstrating the digital accounting software we have available showing the simplicity and accuracy of real time accounting and also to demonstrate how use of the software can be maximised to minimise your time inputting data. We will also demonstrate how combining Xero with Receiptbank offers even greater time savings by automation of the bookkeeping process leaving you free to do what you do best, run your business and generate profits, without the drudgery of dealing with bookkeeping.

This really is something that you cannot afford to miss, we have therefore decided to run the event 3 times on Tuesday 9 October in the hope that you can join us.

This free event is being held at our Altrincham office at 8.30 am, 12 noon and 5.30 pm. Refreshments will be provided at all events and finish with the chance to ask further questions.

To book your space today simply email with your required time slot.

We look forward to seeing you on 9 October.
