HMRC – Change of address

At P60 time I have notice when I send the P60’s out I get quite a few employees emailing me saying they have changed address.

It is important that employees let their employer know of any changes in their circumstances including change of name, copy of marriage certificate would be needed, also you would need to inform your pension provider and HMRC.

What you need is a Government Gateway user ID you can create one when you update your address.

The update covers:

Income Tax

National Insurance

State Pension

Tax credits and Child Benefits.
